Your Questions. My Answers.

Frequently Asked Questions About Your Wedding Celebration.

Do you take song requests?
Yes. Song requests are an important part of a great wedding celebration for me. I always consider whether a request fits the current mood, the dance floor, and your musical preferences. As the wedding couple, your wishes naturally come first.

Do we need to give you a playlist?
No. A complete playlist is not necessary. It is much more helpful if you share a few of your favorite songs, preferred music genres, and your no-go songs with me. This gives me a clear idea of what matters to you while still allowing me to react flexibly to your guests and the atmosphere.

Can we exclude certain songs or genres?
Of course. Your no-go songs are just as important as your favorites. If there are certain artists, genres, or typical wedding songs you do not want to hear, I will respect that.

How do you prepare for our wedding?
Before your wedding, we discuss your musical taste, important songs, no-gos, the schedule, and any special moments you have planned. This creates a musical framework that reflects your personality while still giving me enough freedom to respond to your guests throughout the evening.

Do we have a personal meeting before the wedding?
Yes. Before your wedding, we will have a detailed consultation. We will discuss the schedule, your musical preferences, special moments, technical requirements, and anything else that is important to you for your celebration.

Do you bring your own sound system?
Yes. I work with my own professional sound system and bring all the necessary equipment myself. The setup is selected according to your venue, the number of guests, and the requirements of your celebration.

Do you also bring lighting equipment?
Yes. I also provide suitable lighting for the dance floor. The lighting is designed to enhance the atmosphere and create the right mood without overwhelming the room.

Do we need to rent equipment from the venue?
Usually not. Since I bring my own professional sound and lighting equipment, you normally do not need to arrange any DJ equipment yourself. Before the wedding, I will clarify the technical requirements with you or directly with the venue.

What do you need from our venue?
I mainly need sufficient space for the DJ setup, a suitable power supply, and information about any noise restrictions, setup requirements, or time limitations. If necessary, I can coordinate the technical details directly with the venue.

When do you set up your equipment?
I plan the setup so that all equipment is fully installed, tested, and ready well before the agreed starting time. Everything should already be prepared by the time your guests arrive.

Do you also play music during the reception and dinner?
Yes, if you would like me to. I can provide music during the reception and dinner as well. The music remains pleasantly in the background and supports the atmosphere without interfering with conversations.

Can you also provide music for a symbolic or outdoor wedding ceremony?
Depending on the venue and your schedule, I can also provide musical accompaniment for your ceremony. We will discuss in advance what equipment is required and how the individual moments of the ceremony should be handled.

Do you also make announcements?
Of course, whenever an announcement is necessary or requested by you. Otherwise, I deliberately keep microphone use to a minimum. The focus should be on you, your guests, and the celebration – not on the DJ.

Do you coordinate with witnesses, photographers, and the venue?
Yes. Good coordination is especially useful when there are surprises, speeches, or special moments planned. If necessary, I will communicate directly with your witnesses, photographer, venue, or other wedding vendors.

What happens if our guests are not dancing?
I do not simply turn the music up. I observe which music works best with your guests, try different musical directions, and build the atmosphere step by step. A great dance floor is not created through volume, but through the right music at the right moment.

What happens if there is a technical problem?
Reliable technical preparation is an essential part of my work. My equipment is checked before every event and set up professionally. I am prepared for common technical issues so that your celebration can continue with as little interruption as possible.

What happens if the venue has a sound or volume limit?
These restrictions should ideally be known before the wedding. I adapt the sound system to the venue and its specific regulations. It is therefore helpful to inform me in advance about any volume limits or time restrictions.

How long do you play at our wedding?
The exact playing time depends on your chosen package and the schedule of your wedding. We discuss the starting time, planned finishing time, and possible extensions in advance so that everything is clear from the beginning.

Can we spontaneously extend the party on the evening?
If the schedule, the venue, and the agreed booking allow it, extending the party may be possible. We will discuss the exact conditions before your wedding.

How much does a wedding DJ cost?
Every wedding is different. The venue, playing time, required equipment, travel distance, and other requirements can vary. That is why you will receive a transparent and individually tailored offer for your celebration after your inquiry.

What is included in the price?
This depends on the package you book. Typically, the price includes the preparation for your wedding, our consultation, my DJ service, as well as the required sound and lighting equipment including setup and dismantling. Your personal offer will clearly show exactly what is included.

Where do you perform as a wedding DJ?
I work as a wedding DJ in South Tyrol-Italy (Dolomites) and I also provide music for weddings at Lake Garda, Lake Como, in Veneto and Tuscany. For special weddings and destination weddings, I’m also happy to travel beyond these regions.

How can we book you?
Simply send me an inquiry with your wedding date, venue, and a few details about your celebration. We can then check whether the date is available and which setup is best suited to your wedding.
