Your Questions. My Answers.

☛ Questions about music, technical setup & wedding schedule.

Music Requests & Music Planning

Do you take song requests?
Yes. Song requests are an important part of a great wedding celebration. The key is choosing the right moment: I consider whether a request fits the current atmosphere, the dance floor and your musical preferences. Naturally, the couple’s wishes always take priority.

Do we need to provide you with a playlist?
No. A complete playlist is neither necessary nor particularly helpful. What matters much more are your favourite songs, preferred genres and personal no-gos. This gives me a clear understanding of your musical style while allowing me to respond flexibly to your guests and the atmosphere throughout the evening.

Can we exclude certain songs or genres?
Of course. Your no-gos are just as important as your favourite songs. If there are certain artists, genres or typical wedding songs you do not want to hear, I will make sure they are excluded.

How do you prepare for our wedding?
Before the wedding, we discuss your musical tastes, important songs, no-gos, the schedule and any special moments in detail. Based on this, I create a musical framework that reflects your style while leaving enough flexibility to respond spontaneously to your guests and the atmosphere on the night.

Planning & Coordination

Is there a personal consultation before the wedding?
Yes. Before your wedding, we have a detailed consultation to discuss the schedule, your musical preferences, special moments, technical requirements and everything else that is important for your celebration.

Do you coordinate with witnesses, photographers and the venue?
Yes. Good coordination is especially important for surprises, speeches or special moments during the day. When necessary, I coordinate directly with your witnesses, photographers, the venue or other suppliers involved.

Do you also make announcements?
Yes, when an announcement is useful or specifically requested. Otherwise, I keep microphone use to a minimum. The focus should be on you, your guests and the celebration — not the DJ.

Sound & Lighting

Do you bring your own sound system?
Yes. I work with my own professional sound equipment and provide all the necessary technical equipment myself. The setup is selected according to the venue, number of guests and size of your celebration.

Do you also provide lighting?
Yes. Suitable lighting for the dance floor is also part of my setup. The goal is to create the right atmosphere and enhance the space without unnecessarily overloading it.

Do we need to rent technical equipment from the venue?
Usually not. As I provide my own sound and lighting equipment, you generally do not need to arrange additional DJ equipment yourselves. I clarify the technical requirements in advance either with you or directly with the venue.

What do you need from our venue?
I need sufficient space for the DJ setup, a suitable power supply and information about any volume restrictions, setup requirements or time limitations. Technical details can be coordinated directly with the venue if required.

When do you set up your equipment?
The setup is planned so that everything is fully installed and tested before the agreed start time. By the time your guests arrive, the equipment should already be ready to use.

Reception, Ceremony & Schedule

Do you also provide music for the reception or aperitif?
Yes. If requested, I can provide music from the reception or aperitif onwards. The music can remain subtle in the background or gradually build some energy with modern, groovy tracks and selected classics. This creates a relaxed atmosphere from the beginning without taking away from the dance floor later in the evening.

Can you also provide music for a symbolic or outdoor ceremony?
Yes. Depending on the venue and the planned schedule, I can also provide musical support for a symbolic ceremony. We discuss the required equipment and how to handle the entrance, exit and any other key moments in advance.

Party & Dance Floor

What happens if the guests are not dancing?
I do not simply turn up the volume. I observe which music works best with your guests, test different musical directions and build the atmosphere step by step. A strong dance floor comes from timing, dynamics and playing the right music at the right moment.

What happens if there is a technical problem?
Reliable equipment and careful preparation are essential. All equipment is checked before the event and set up professionally. I am also prepared for common technical issues so that the celebration can continue with as little interruption as possible.

What happens if the venue has a volume limit?
I adapt the sound system accordingly. It is important to know about any volume or time restrictions as early as possible so that the setup can be properly adjusted to the venue and its requirements.

Performance Time & Extensions

How long do you play at our wedding?
The performance time depends on the package you book and the planned schedule. The start time, planned end time and any possible extensions are agreed transparently in advance.

Can we extend the party spontaneously on the night?
In principle, yes — provided the venue, schedule and my availability allow it. The conditions for a possible extension are discussed before the wedding so that everything remains straightforward on the night.

Prices & Services

How much does a wedding DJ cost?
Every wedding is different. The venue, performance time, required equipment, travel distance and any special requirements all influence the overall scope of the service. After your enquiry, you will receive a transparent quotation tailored specifically to your celebration.

What is included in the price?
This depends on the package you book. As a rule, my offer includes wedding preparation, the personal consultation, my DJ service and the required sound and lighting equipment, including setup and dismantling. All included services are clearly listed in your personalised quotation.

Regions & Booking

Where do you work as a wedding DJ?
I provide DJ services for weddings in South Tyrol, Austria and Germany, as well as at Lake Garda, Lake Como, in Veneto and Tuscany. I am also available for destination weddings and special celebrations in other locations.

How can we book you?
Simply send me an enquiry with your wedding date, venue and a few details about your celebration. I will then confirm availability and discuss the musical and technical setup that best suits your event.
